After ten crazy days of shooting across Indonesia, we finally wrapped our last shoot of the trip in Uluwatu, Bali. We had the afternoon free before jumping on a red-eye flight back home, so we headed over to Single Fin for incredible views, delicious food and icy cold Bintangs.
Single Fin is a café slash bar slash surf shop that’s perched high on the limestone cliffs in Uluwatu overlooking one of the best surf breaks on the island. Maybe it was the calming effect of the spectacular Indian Ocean views from Single Fin’s massive outdoor deck, but from the moment we walked in, everything was chill. We ordered a round of beers and spent the afternoon in the sunshine watching the sets roll in below – it was the perfect end to an incredible trip.
TIL tip: Single Fin is the place to be on a Sunday night in Ulus. Drop in for a sundowner and watch the place come alive with DJs, live music and if you’re lucky, you might catch a spot of night surfing.

Oh Laura, we loved Single Fin when in Bali in January. Had the tacos too. Such an amazing place. Going back to Bali in October for a girlfriend’s 40th and cannot wait!

This looks beautiful! I’d sell my soul for a beer on a beach right now. x
We need a Whitsundays reunion tour! x

Thank you! So glad you love the ocean and summer too. x
Hi Laura,
Nice blog and pics! I’ve listed you on our blog about 25 best websites for traveling around Bali. However, I was wondering which type of camera and lens you are using for your pictures…?
Thanks a lot!
Cheers, Roel
Great little post about one of my old favourite spots. I’m doing a Bali feature at the moment and will refer people to your post. 🙂
