Beach days have never looked so good. I recently travelled to Bawah Island in Indonesia – an exclusive eco-resort in Indonesia’s remote Anambas Archipelago where I was in tropical heaven lying on these luxe 100% organic cotton velour beach towels by Swedish brand Bella Collins Beach. I mixed up two geometric printed towels in the same colour scheme to create this eclectic beach vibe look.
We had so much fun shooting these beach towels with the drone. I love the way the bungalow and our sun lounges are completely surrounded by nature. It really felt like we had been stranded on a beautiful tropical island where we could live our best Robinson Crusoe lives. What more do you need that this cute little villa, some super soft beach towels and the clear aqua lagoon out our front door.
This bamboo bungalow is sustainable design at its best. Created using bamboo harvested from plantations in Java, each bungalow on Bawah Island has been hand-built to minimise its ecological impact. So each villa is surrounded by lush tropical jungle the way that nature intended. While the villa feels luxurious, it also feels like you’re living a simple island life without the necessities from the mainland. There’s no TV, but there is a coffee machine that wakes you up in the morning by playing a wake up song once your coffee has brewed.
We shot these beach towels on the incredible Bawah Island – a luxurious five star private eco island in Indonesia’s Anambas Archipelago.
