There’s nothing better than spending summer in my home town of Sydney. Especially when I get to shoot stunning bikinis like this one from Cotton On Body.
It was the beginning of summer and even though the beach was packed, there were only surfers out in the ocean. Most of Tamarama Beach was closed to swimmers due to dangerous conditions – not ideal when you’re trying to shoot a new bikini. But with it otherwise being a picture perfect sunny beach day, I wasn’t going to let this new bikini go to waste. We found some photogenic rocks over towards MacKenzies Bay covered in beautiful green seaweed that really popped in these photos.
If you follow me on Instagram where I’ve basically posted every bikini I’ve ever worn, you’ll know that I’m obsessed with swimwear in earthy tones. And I love swimwear fabric that has a bit of shimmer in it, because when the sun hits it, your whole body sparkles. Which is why this beautiful rust-coloured bikini by Cotton On Body ticks all the boxes. It’s also a great little bikini for wearing under your resort wear, because the bikini top provides really great support and with it’s sleek lines, you don’t have a thousand strings coming out of your tops or bottoms.
I’m also so impressed with the price point of Cotton On Body’s swimwear. The fit and fabric of this rust bikini felt so much more luxe than its affordable price point suggests. Each bikini seperate from Cotton On Body is around the $20 mark, which means you can create quite a bikini collection over the summer. Look for pieces in similar colour schemes so you can mix and match to create your own personalised summer swimwear combo.
