When it comes to bikinis, I’ve got a problem. Some girls are into bags, some are into shoes – bikinis are my weakness. I own a ridiculous amount – I can’t even reveal the number out of fear that my friends will stage a 90210-style intervention. But no matter how many I collect, there’s only one I can’t live without and that’s the Little Black Bikini (LBB). When you find one that fits perfectly in the right style, it’s an investment piece and the foundation to a good summer wardrobe.
Mine recently needed replacing so I put the call out to Australian swimwear label Seafolly and they came back with the LBB of my dreams. Triangle tops are my favourite style – they look good under clothes and stay on during water activities. I also prefer black bikinis to have a little more detail, so I’m loving the subtle spaghetti straps on this one. I pretty much only wear skimpy bottoms, which is why I didn’t go for the matching ones – instead I pared the top with Seafolly’s classic black Brazilian bottoms. I wear these with pretty much every bikini top I own and I have them in white too – they’re a summer staple.
This post was shot at Cape Panwa Hotel in Phuket, Thailand where we stayed for four incredible days as their guests. It rained most of the time we were there, but the rooms were so luxurious we had just as much fun shooting indoors.
